ABSTRACT
This chapter provides an overview of the most pertinent topics discussed throughout the text, with a specific focus on how helping professionals can use the information provided to help adolescents grow, mature, and live happier, healthier lives. Issues related to psychoeducation are discussed and how helpers can work to address the knowledge, skills, and attitudes that are necessary to successful work with adolescents in a digital age. This chapter also explores issues related to the research literature and provides some warnings and suggestions on how the research in this field can best be used in an unbiased and appropriate way. Finally, the chapter explores how rapidly technology has advanced and continues to do so. We live in a digital age, and findings ways to stay abreast of the constant evolution of technology and sexually explicit material can be overwhelming. This chapter provides guidance on how helpers can attempt to stay current on these and other issues.
