ABSTRACT
I have been in the investigative field for 50 years and I have conducted tens of thousands of interviews and interrogations. I offer this chapter as a guide to anyone who wants to be the best possible professional investigator. I will focus on the importance of confidence as an important attribute of a great investigator, drawing upon my experience as a detective, a polygraph expert, and a licensed private investigator.
