ABSTRACT

The need of statistical information seems endless in the modern era. Data are regularly collected to satisfy the necessity of information about the sets of elements. The data are collected regularly to satisfy the requirement for information about the particular sets of elements. There are two methods are given in sampling theory for data collection: Complete Enumeration Survey, and sample survey. The periodic census as a regular function of government data from 1790 in the United States, followed by England and Wales in 1801 than Canada and 1881 in India. If the information is collected by some chosen units from the population instead studying the whole population, then this method of data collection is called sample survey. The main aim of sample survey is to create sampling more effective and to provide more accurate estimates of the population parameters keeping in mind the cost, time, and other existing resources for the survey.
