ABSTRACT

This chapter explains about species are spread in Georgia, which is located in the south Caucasus. Global climate change is an existing reality, which will significantly affect the biological processes proceeding on the earth. Temperature minima rose in European Alps more than average indices, and the most sensitive habitats were revealed on the territories from the upper limit of forest to the nival belt. The effect of high temperature on the duration of reproductive phases is more evident in those plant species which grow in sensitive habitats. Sky exposition is of great importance for the formation of the climate of microhabitat and, correspondingly, for the growing and development of plants. Light spectrum can directly affect the vital capacity of plants and animals, and its level could define diversity of plants. Genus Primula is one of the biggest and best-known genera in the family Primulaceae.
