ABSTRACT

The paper addresses to a semi-analytical method of solution of contact problems for an electroelastic transversely isotropic piezoelectric half-space with a functionally graded electroelastic transversely isotropic piezoelectric coating. Few typical contact problems are formulated. Contact problems are reduced to the solution of dual integral equations and their systems. Padé approximations for kernel transforms are used. Process of construction of an approximated analytical solution is described in details for the example of an indentation by a conductive conical punch. Approximated analytical solutions are also provided for contact problems on indentation by an insulated punch and for a circular electrode on the surface of the half-space.
