ABSTRACT

“Technology Integration” confronts the challenges and opportunities new technologies are bringing into classrooms around the world and how teachers can manage the impact, including the development of ethical guidelines for technology use that aligns with school and community values. It considers three key questions. How do educators teach students to think about how they use technology (critical thinking)? How do educators determine when and where to use technology to enhance student learning (teaching tools)? How does a classroom teacher protect their students’ privacy when using collaborative and cloud-based technology (professional ethics)?
