ABSTRACT
The chapter shares important perspectives. The messages are from people from all walks of life: business leaders and those on their career journey, from inside real estate and construction, as well as from the outside looking in. Their messages touch on all of the nine protected characteristics (see Chapter 2, section 2.2: Our changing world: let’s be ready) and bring out key messages for CEOs or leaders to consider when thinking about D&I in their organisations. The richness of their stories, the messages for the CEO and the perspectives of these amazing people are indeed deep-rooted in a desire to make change happen by moving the dial to a new setting for D&I in the land, construction and property sector.
