ABSTRACT

This chapter discusses a Value-Management Plan and explores a Program Brief. It describes key value levers and the capacities required and explain the degree of change and plan for deployment and Communicate with key stakeholders. Tight integration of business process redesign, new organizational structures and operating models, and information technology plans, along with disciplined change management, are necessary to ensure that value projections become reality. A Value-Management Plan, providing an executive summary of the program and related projects, should be packaged in a clear, concise fashion. The Value-Management Plan is more than a business plan or a financial analysis. information technology (IT) program-management offices have been responsible for keeping IT projects on time, on budget, and on scope. Planning for and integrating the design and the execution and management of value levers are as important, if not more important, than the technology decision.
