ABSTRACT
Translators make sense of the texts they translate from language A and then re-express that sense in language B. But what is it that allows them to make sense? Does sense pre-exist language? Do human beings share in “sense” before that shared sense is taken away from them by different languages and obscured bywords and phrases?
