In Nathaniel Kahn’s documentary film My Architect, A Son’s Journey, 2003, Louis Kahn recalls William F. Gray, his teacher at Central High School, Philadelphia:

And he gave a course on architecture, the only course in any high school I am sure, in Greek, Roman, Renaissance, Egyptian and Gothic architecture.
