ABSTRACT

As I’ve worked through this book I have kept a running log of the ways in which I do and do not believe that I’m a Good Enough Therapist and am sharing both of these logs here. One thing that became clear as I worked on these lists is that many of the qualities that showed up on one list could have easily showed up on the other one as well. This should come as no surprise—strengths can be weaknesses and weaknesses can be strengths, depending on the conditions within which they are revealed.
