ABSTRACT
The opportunity of dominating time has driven man to control it through perfected mechanisms (clocks). But also to build myths and cultures that prolonged the memory of its existence on earth; today technology allows us to glimpse, if not to reach immortality, at least to prolong human life beyond its natural limits.
