ABSTRACT
When we ask people a lot of questions we interrogate them. The word interrogate is derived from the Latin words Rogo - I ask and Inter - between. Question sentences may be called INTERROGATIVES.
In Roman times the Imperator was a title conferred on a victorious general or emperor. These were the people who gave commands. Commands may also be called IMPERATIVES.
