ABSTRACT

This chapter records the vital contributions made to P4C in Australia by the people who produced the newsletters and journals which were the primary way information about P4C was disseminated. It charts the changes in, and some of the pressures on, the publications and their creators, from the first newsletter in 1985 by the newly established Australian Institute for Philosophy for Children (AIPC), through the state-based newsletters that followed, to the journal Creative and Critical Thinking to its replacement the Journal of Philosophy in Schools.
