ABSTRACT
A 3-year-old girl presents to the emergency department with a rectal bulge. Her parents noticed a pink bulge in her rectal area when they were changing her diaper and brought her in for evaluation. The parents note that she has a history of frequent respiratory infections, but deny any known medical problems. The child was adopted and little is known about her medical history.
