ABSTRACT
A toddler presents with a non-pruritic, diffuse, erythematous maculopapular rash with areas of coalescence over the face, trunk, and extremities. He is afebrile and otherwise has been acting appropriately. Five days prior, he was seen by his pediatrician for fever and fussiness. At that time, he was diagnosed with an ear infection and started on amoxicillin.
