ABSTRACT
A 10-year-old obese boy presents with left knee and hip pain for the past 2 weeks. There was no preceding trauma, and he denies numbness or weakness. On exam, he has mild pain with hip range of motion and has a waddling gait. His sensation, strength, pulses, and capillary refill are normal in both extremities. A hip radiograph is demonstrated next.
