ABSTRACT
This chapter briefly hints at ways in which the insights of this book may give rise to further research into issues concerning pictorial frames, moral cognition, word and image relations, cartoons, and other pictorial phenomena. It is important, for example, to investigate the unique and long-term effects of different pictorial framing types and to take a second look at the issue of non-verbal intertextuality and complex framing.
