Sir Henry Wotton: biographical note Sir Henry Wotton was born 30 March 1568 at Boughton Hall in the parish of Boughton, Kent. The life of Wotton was written by his friend Isaac Walton with whom Wotton shared a love of angling. The following account is drawn largely from Walton's study The Life of Sir Henry Wotton.1
