ABSTRACT
This chapter reconstructs the circumstances leading to the birth of Tadhana Project. It identifies and discusses the motivations that drove Marcos to initiate the project and those that encouraged the scholars to participate in it. Drawing from the recollection of the participants, this chapter also provides snapshots of how the project was carried out and how key actors interacted.
