ABSTRACT
State-governed social security and different public services are considered typical features in the welfare state. Also typical is legislation which aims at protecting the weaker party in contractual relations: consumer law, labour law, tenant law, etc. Different public bodies have been established to provide public services and to ensure that new legislation is complied with.
