ABSTRACT
The activities in this chapter offer opportunities to use mathematics, science and D&T knowledge in an interesting and stimulating way and give children the opportunity for some problem-solving and reasoning. However, there are not always clear links to the primary curriculum for science or mathematics. While the activities could be used in lessons, they are also ideal for use as holiday projects, STEM-club activities or for special events such as a STEM Day or Science Week.
