ABSTRACT

The problem of the unification of physics is the most fundamental and final problem in physics. It is better to use the language and concept of ‘unification’ rather than the ‘theory of everything’, which suggests unifying all branches of knowledge including biology and human studies. The problem of unification will be limited to the two most fundamental branches of physics – gravitation theory and quantum theory. Albert Einstein’s special theory of relativity was published in 1905 and the general theory in 1915. The angular momentum therefore has two forms: orbital angular momentum and intrinsic angular momentum or spin. Einstein published his special theory of relativity in June 1905. The fundamental assumption of the whole theory is that motion is of bodies from place to place – a motion of translation. The purpose of mechanics is to describe how bodies change their position in space with time.
