ABSTRACT
After the battle of Waterloo, in 1815, Captain B. returned to England, and lost no time in redeeming the promise which he had made, to revisit, the very first opportunity that presented itself, the fairy scenes of Myrtle Grove, the charming and delightful seat of his much esteemed friend, Mr. Escourt: and who thus describes the following incidental occurrences, and interesting scenes that took place during his visits, and who ultimately became a prominent actor in the sentimental and affecting little drama.
