227Revisiting Just Sex? The Cultural Scaffolding of Rape nearly a decade and a half after it was written is a strangely sobering experience. The public landscape of gender and sexual politics is almost unrecognizable, laden with new challenges for understanding the socially-situated phenomenon of sexual violence and new challenges in theorising it inclusively, in ways that can best inform praxis toward ending it.
