ABSTRACT
Artfully creative artists working in Malawi and Norway have told about their experiences with creative processes in art making. Fragments of their untamed stories are presented in this chapter. The authors search for vitalizing elements for education, especially arts education, asking: How could their ways of living a meaningful life spark creativity among pupils, students and teachers in education? The authors are positioned within agential realism considering both human matter and non-human matter (materiality) as performative agents influencing the work of artfully creative artists. A performative and narrative inquiry is used as research methodology. The performative agents in these untamed stories form a multidimensional narrative space with materiality of life as the most prominent aspect as a contribution to depth in aesthetic learning also in education.
