ABSTRACT

The detection of copy-move tampering in digital images becomes difficult with reducing size of tampered area and in presence of post processing operations. Most of the methods successfully detect a copy move tampering of size up to 32×32 pixels tampered region, whereas the proposed method can detect tampering of size up to 14×14 pixels and robust against additive white gaussian noise, gaussian blurring, JPEG compression and scaling. The proposed method has used evaluation at pixel level using a texture descriptor to detect tampered region. Experimental results exhibit that the proposed algorithm outperforms most of the well-known algorithms with minimum false detection rate.
