ABSTRACT

In analysis, the analysand talks about his or her history, about the memory that, being a trace of what is not there anymore, leaves a testimony of what was and what will never be again. The link that Sigmund Freud makes between the infantile and the dream bearing in mind the properties of both is not something that surfaces ex nihilo in epistemological terms. The infantile is not only related to the dream and the symptom, but also to wit. Freud says that the unconscious is a form of thought, that’s why it is called a formation of unconscious. Sexuality goes through the subject violently and by forcing itself through the subject humanizes him or her. It is important to emphasize that in Freud, it is talked about trauma and not traumatism. According to Le Guen, the concept of repression is shown in several moments in Freud’s works. Repression operates by moving away from consciousness all that appears as displeasing.
