ABSTRACT

So far, this book has outlined how to think critically about research in terms of the questions ‘what evidence is there’? and ‘how is it presented’? There is also a final step to critical thinking which involves being extra critical. This chapter outlines how to be extra critical in terms of questioning the notion of scientific truth, considering the nature of disciplines, and thinking outside of the box. This is the icing on the cake in terms of thinking critically about research.
