ABSTRACT
The final chapter endeavors to propose solutions that may please or disenchant. Our species has thus far experienced a full history; nonetheless it is a story to which may be added tentative solutions and bold visions. Visions based on democratic, egalitarian and humanistic principles, full of confidence and perhaps whim, but worth giving a try. Beyond Chapter 15, mankind may be able to sustain its further development, or it may not. The future will depend on our own voluntary yet ambitious reforms and our outspoken confidence in perceiving the complexity that has become our compagnon de route.
