ABSTRACT

Abu-al-Hasan continues his tale where some below play the tambour and the pipe while others wear masks and engage in prayer, song, and speaking among themselves. Several of these masked figures will be imprisoned in jails with no bars, others will ride horses that cannot be seen by the naked eye, while a select few will wage battles with sticks of bamboo rather than swords. But perhaps the most miraculous occurrence of all was that the dead, in the end, would rise and walk again.
