ABSTRACT
A list of Castanea cultivars is provided in Section 4.1. In total, about 600 cultivars are described; information on origin, taxonomy, and tree and nuts characteristics of each cultivar are included together with their main utilizations. Breeding aspects are discussed in Section 4.2.
