ABSTRACT
My aim in this study is to present the trajectory of the Participatory Budget (PB) import from Porto Alegre to La Marsa and the local appropriations to which it was subject. Specifically, we highlight the role played by international arena, amabassadors and local traders of participation. We also demonstrate how and by whom the design of the PB is developed and implemented into Tunisia. The historicity and temporalities specific to the PB in Tunisia will shed light on the local ownership of this internationalized system.
