Stress dependency of the thermal conductivity of a regular arrangement of spheres in a vacuum

In this paper the thermal conductivity of two regular arrangements of spheres in a vacuum is computed, using the FEM, as a function of the isotropic stress. This represents a lower limit for the thermal conductivity of a dry soil. The stress dependency found was in agreement with the model of Sakatani et al. (2017).
