ABSTRACT
I have written this book primarily to inform those involved in education of the influence and implications of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms. I have tried to make it useful by summarizing practical suggestions for the administrator and by highlighting important cases to those interested in education and law. I have also tried to interpret the thrust of the courts’ treatment of the Charter to promote understanding, discussion and future directions.
