ABSTRACT
This chapter presents a comprehensive, but not exhaustive, historical overview of student activism from 1968 to present. Authors give particular attention to comparing and contrasting the sociopolitical climates within and across the last 50 years and how it shaped organized resistance on campus and within broader social movements of the era.
