ABSTRACT

By supporting a feudalistic monarchy, all we are getting is some very short-run bootlicking. The monarchy has no lasting power. It will soon be replaced by young, educated people. On exporting technologically innovative products there is no disagreement. Exporting technologically innovative products is different from exporting the Bill of Rights. There is no competition when it comes to exporting the Bill of Rights. No other country in the world can touch the United States with regard to what the US Supreme Court has done over the last 50 years regarding free speech, due process and equal treatment, partly with the help of Congress, administrative agencies, interest groups, and state and local governments. There is no need to concentrate too much on Saudi Arabia, though that country is a good example. The USA has had Bill of Rights problems with every developing region of the world.
