ABSTRACT

This chapter presents the analytical methods used to evaluate the research data and the findings. The research data was first evaluated by reviewing means, standard deviations, minimum values, and maximum values for all research variables. A correlation matrix was created to evaluate the correlation of research variables. The base sample of 74 Engineering Department employees was evaluated using structural equation modeling techniques. The significance level of the regression weights calculated were evaluated using the structural equation modeling critical ratio. The critical ratio is the regression weight estimate divided by the estimated standard error. This statistic is similar to the t-statistic but is only an approximation because structural equation modeling estimates the standard error term. Structural equation modeling techniques were used to evaluate the proposed path model with the base sample. Additional analysis of the research data was performed on the base sample and the subgroups using linear regression analysis.
