ABSTRACT
This chapter links the author’s personal journey, his own philosophical stances, his experiments, his thoughts and his writings that led to the creation of the EUM framework. It begins with a critique of binaries that underlie cognitive frameworks and leads on to his discovery of Clare Graves work in his search of holistic frameworks. In this chapter, the author acknowledges Graves’s work while also stating how the EUM framework is different from it in terms of possibilities and interpretation. The chapter hints at other influential writings, such as the works of Aurobindo and Chakras theory, that has a strong resonance with the EUM framework
