ABSTRACT

This chapter integrates the EUM framework with leadership, inviting the reader to examine and work with four polarity scales. The chapter brings forth our researched data that reveal that there are preferences of the leader towards each of the scale, that reinforce the role proclivity of the Indian leader in general. Along with individual role preferences, this chapter also offers insights on aspirations as well as how the Indian manager looks at the Other. This includes perceptions, judgments and projections and gives a better understanding of how the Indian manager looks at leadership as a process.
