ABSTRACT

Earth as a planet was formed from cosmic matter in the course of formation of the solar system. Further evolution of Earth was determined by common action of external factors, internal processes, and laws of self-development. Another important factor in the Earth's life and evolution is living matter, which originated and constructed the biosphere and its system of matter and energy cycling that is now inherent to the planet as a whole. Another important factor for the Earth's evolution is energy of radioactive decay of natural radionuclides unevenly distributed on the planet due natural geochemical processes whose alteration with time is an inherent feature of the evolution. Now geochemistry has a social component that further complicates its methodology and reduces the reliability of scientific forecasts. The additional degrees of freedom reduce the reliability of models, and hence forecasts.
