ABSTRACT
Computerized library systems are immensely complicated, and the Geac system is a particularly sophisticated and ambitious one. When one buys a Geac system, one is buying a remarkably complicated device, and this has to be realized by all concerned from the start otherwise major difficulties will be experienced.
