ABSTRACT
Mr and Mrs Wright were fifty-seven and forty-seven years of age, respectively, when Mrs Wright was admitted into the unit on 9 May 1974 following a family crisis. They have three children. Tony, who was twenty-three at the time of his mother's admission, was living away from home although he was visiting his parents when the crisis took place. Robert, who was twenty-six and is married, was not present. Mary, who was sixteen, was still living at home.
