ABSTRACT
Dosimetric data plays a major role in radiation oncology for predicting treatment response. These metrics were originally based on prescribed radiation dose fractionation and more recently are derived from 3D radiation dose distributions. In this chapter, we discuss the extraction and the application of dosimetric variables for predicting radiotherapy outcomes. We will also describe by example the different steps involved in such dosimetric analysis.
