ABSTRACT
I went to China to mainstream counseling concepts through the teaching of emotional literacy skills. I first describe the background that formed the basis for my work and then share stories that illustrate some of my teaching and learning experiences during my stay. I conclude my chapter by highlighting lessons learned.
