ABSTRACT

This chapter discloses the synthesis of cyclopropanone ketals by the reaction of gem-dichlorocyclopropanes with alcohols and phenols. In these

conditions brom containing gem-dichlorocyclopropane is destroyed with formation of propargyl aldehyde acetals.
