ABSTRACT
Some authors have the power to change something deeply in our lives. This happened to me particularly when I read Playing and Reality; my admiration, my debt, and my huge gratitude to Winnicott will be evident in this chapter. I will describe some specific passages that can occur between patient and analyst when an interpsychic activity is working.
