ABSTRACT
This conclusion presents some closing thoughts on the concepts discussed in the preceding chapters of this book. The book focuses on evidence-based approach which has adopted from innovation and entrepreneurship scholarship to respond to questions about frugal innovation. Frugal innovation can take place in profit, non-profit and public sectors. The book illuminates the skills and tools needed by frugal innovators to act in an entrepreneurial manner. This helps to advance knowledge in building a general theory of frugal innovation on the basis of entrepreneurship and innovation theories. The book provides an inspiring and uplifting story about frugal innovation as it has impressed people with its ability to change living conditions for bottom-of-the-pyramid consumers. In the literature, frugal innovation is a relatively new topic that needs to adopt theories already in existence in the traditional entrepreneurship and innovation domain.
