ABSTRACT
Endometriosis and infertility have had a long and controversial relationship. The two have been circumstantially linked for over a century, yet many of the aspects of the relationship have been clouded by bias, faulty assumption, and poor science. Today, many issues remain unresolved in the ongoing controversy of the relative importance of endometriosis as a causative factor for infertility.
