ABSTRACT

Each agency has a unique role in the educational planning for youth. To fully understand the flow of educational direct service, the agency/school responsibilities must be reviewed. This is a comprehensive list that also applies to juvenile justice youth as well and will not be repeated. Listed below are potential roles and responsibilities for each agency direct service staff. This listing of responsibilities is in addition to the responsibilities for transition planning. Roles for both juvenile justice and child welfare involvement are similar and are not separated.
